Sew at the Agnew Community Centre, Newton Aycliffe

Join us on one our sewing courses for beginner and intermediate sewers at School Aycliffe Community Centre.

Our courses run for 4 weeks at a time, and are designed to help you to develop your sewing skills in a small group of 6-8 people.

Sewing Squad (ongoing) Age 9-16 years

Adult sewing classes take place at School Aycliffe Community Centre on Mondays between 6pm – 8pm.  Courses must be booked in advance.  Children’s ‘Sewing Squad’ takes place on Wednesdays between 4.30pm – 6pm, and must be booked in advance.

Karron teaches all courses and provides support and guidance to all sewers at each of the weekly sessions.  You will learn at your own pace – there is no pressure!                                Karron is a qualified teacher, and she understands that sewers learn at different rates, and in different ways.  She will adapt her teaching style to suit the needs of individuals.  She wants you to enjoy your sewing experience and, although specific skills will be taught each week, you will be under no pressure to achieve a certain amount by the end of the course.

If you cannot see a course to suit your needs, please contact us as we are open to suggestions for new courses.

We look forward to helping you on your sewing journey!
